https://github.com/Wizcorp/phonegap-facebook-plugin might be what you’re looking for.
If you want to use Facebook’s API, you probably need to use OAuth to get access to the API. Have a look at the Facebook developers page for how to do that (it should be the same for Cordova as with normal JavaScript).
