Onsen and Google's AMP

Is it possible to create valid AMP pages using Onsen?
If not, is it planned for future versions?
AMP isn’t supported right now.
The way Onsen UI works is that Onsen custom elements get compiled into regular HTML elements. To support AMP, it would need to be changed so that anything that currently compiles to an element that is outlawed by AMP instead compiles to the AMP equivalent.
If this is something you think should be included in a future Onsen release, please make an issue for it at https://github.com/OnsenUI/OnsenUI/issues . Please include in your feature request the reasons you think this would be a good feature for Onsen, so that we can start a discussion.
