Movable tabbar

Hi folks,

Is it possible to turn the “ons-tabbar” into a horizontal movable tabbar as a flexible home for a number of “ons-tabs” exceeding the current viewport width?
Wouldn’t that be the perfect “ons-tabbar” extension?

Especially when textual icons with meaningful items are needed the mobile viewport width is often to small even in horizontal direction.
