Push Notification Sound or Vibrate

In the https://docs.monaca.io/en/backend/manual/push_notification/overview/#how-to-enable-push-notification-with-monaca,
it is mentioned “Currently, sound notifications are not supported in Monaca.”This is a very critical feature for the apps I am building and I would to like to know when the sound option will be implemented and whether lack of this option is also affecting device vibration on notification when the app is closed or open.
Right now, on iOS 11, I get the notification on locked device (iPhone) screen, but sound or vibration.
On Galaxy Note 3 with Android 5.0, the device does not wake up and also no sound or vibration.Without sound or vibration, push notifications become somewhat useless.

Hi,I’ve contacted our Developer team about the possibility of supporting sound and vibrate for Monaca Push Notification. Unfortunately, I’ve been informed that we don’t have plan to support this in the near future as we are having a long list of features to be implemented. Satisfying you, as well our customers, is what we are striving for. However, this feature is not on the high priority list for us at the moment. We apologize if this causes you any inconveniences.

Just stumbled upon OneSignal, it is free and works great and comes with sound!!

@MarkChu, yes! You need to build a release build of you app (iOS/Android) for it to work.
