Offline/local debug on Android device using USB



  • Hi,

    Is it possible to debug on a real device using a USB connection? Something like you can do with React using “adb reverse…”.

    The wifi provider for my apartment allows only one device to connect at any give time and I could really do with this feature. I am using a Macbook with an Android 7 smartphone. If not, then what are my other options? Can I do a local Cordova build?

    Yes, you can definitely use USB debugging with Monaca. We have comprehensive documentation on how to use USB debugging with Monaca local development tools such as Monaca Localkit, CLI and Monaca for Visual Studio. Read more here.
