Uncaught ReferenceError: Set is not defined when in PhoneGap

JS console keeps reporting:

 "Uncaught ReferenceError: Set is not defined"  js/onsenui.js:2231

Any ideas? I’m getting this error for Safari on iOS and also OEM Android browser (non-Chrome version). Using Onsen 2.2.4

EDIT: I just noticed if I switch back to v2.1.0 this error disappears and Onsen works again, so possibly this issue is related to the new release?
